The Genoa Township Park District is applying for a $600,000 Open Space Land and Development (OSLAD) Grant through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. As part of the Grant Application Process, the Park District is hosting a Public Input meeting at 6:00 pm at Genoa City Hall, 333 E. 1st, on Monday, May 19th. If awarded, the grant will help fund the development of 10 acres that is adjacent to Chamberlain Park that is currently agricultural fields and is owned by the Park District. The public will be able to review a couple of different concept plans and give input based on those designs.
